CEO Explains Green Mountain's Rapid Growth to Investors tickerspy Newswire
19.04.10
Recommended Bibliography selection Green Mountain Coffee Roasters (GMCR, $96.11, -0.46) CEO Larry Blanford appeared at an investment conference sponsored by Roth Upper case last month and we went back to review his comments and presentation for this report. The presentation confirmed our view that Green Mountain has one of the most well-contemplating-out strategies for growing what Blanford said is now more of a “single-cup beverage company” than a wholesale coffee roaster.
“The break, we believe, for single-cup brewing is very significant,” Blanford said, pointing to the fact that of the 114 million U.S. households, 90 million have some ailing of coffeemaker.
“Our target is clearly about people who are preparing and consuming coffee at home,” he said. “Of those 90 million, we mull over there’s about 64 million that we’re focused on in terms of their usage.”
Those 64 million, the company estimates, typically expend two or more cups at home. At present, Green Mountain’s current installed base of single-cup coffee makers is in the 4 to 4.5 million travel over. However, in the final three months of 2009, Green Mountain’s Keurig brand of single-cup brewers represented 18.6% of all coffeemakers sold during the time, according to data from the market research firm NPD. On a dollar basis, almost 37% of all revenue generated by coffeemakers stemmed from Keurig sales.

What is the easiest way to clean a Mr. Coffee machine?
Feb 18, 2007 by jimorlarryr | Posted in Cleaning & Laundry
It is a archetype Mr. Coffee maker. I mean not only the glass pot but the whole maker.
vinegar works OK, but it STINKS! mr. coffee sells cleaner packets in the negligible appliance section of target, walmart, etc. put the cleaner in the pot, fill with water, put it in the resevior, and run it thru your machine as if you were making a pot of coffee. it says on the box, but i think you need to run clear water thru 2 or 3 times after. also, after your coffee maker "brews" the cleaner, don't only dump it out. leave some in your pot and scrub the inside of the pot with that solution to remove stains that build up.

Run a pot full of vinegar through it. Remedy sure to rinse with a pot of straight water before using it again.

Run vinegar through it. Then on with several pots of water to remove any vinegar residue. After that, wipe down the outside with a convenient cleaner.

Yeah.. answers above are sound. Vinegar and water mixed.. then run some water through it again. I do it ever so often.. Good luck..

Put a clen cheesecloth in the basket. Fill the pot half and half with clear vinager and water , pour it into the pot like you are making a pot of coffee. Turn the pot on and let it run. When all the running is back in the caraffe , pour out the liquid and turn the pot off. Refill the caraffe with clear water and pour it into the pot. Turn the pot back on and let it run through and then dogs the water out when all the water is back in the caraffe. If the pot is very filthy you might have to repeat the process, but usually once is enough. To keep you pot clean do this about once a month.

i have a mr. coffee coffee maker and it has a "clean" excerpt do you just use the regular 1:2 mixture of vinager and water with it?
Full concentration Vinegar (white) - I also put mine in the top rack of the dishwasher when it gets really bad. The manufacturer recommends vinegar however.
